Lego Zombie Apocalypse MOC: Abandoned Warehouse

LEGO zombie apocalypse MOC. Lego zombie minifigures with weapons.

This is the first entry in my Lego Zombie Apocalypse series, and it is the abandoned warehouse. It has a zombie businessman, zombie prisoner, zombie lumberjack, and a survivor.

My inspiration for this was that I started out with the warehouse to be some kind of battle-stricken city, and it was supposed to be an outpost for the soldiers, with scaffolding as a lookout point, cardboard boxes, stacks of papers, crates, barrels, and even a radio.

Then I thought, “Hey, this could be a cool zombie apocalypse thingy.” so I finished it, made some zombies, and it was done. Then I figured the survivor hero needed a way to get around.

So, I started on the zombie-proof truck, which I think looks really good and almost took more time than the building. I pretty much just took the Taskforce truck from the Captain America the Winter Soldier set: “Black Panther pursuit” and made some adjustments.

I put on a large grill for pushing zombies around, some spikes, a skull and crossbones, a textured bumper, a roof, a gun, and lots of other small, unnecessary details that are really hard to see.

I’m not exactly sure why I made the zombies have weapons, I just had the chainsaw at the time and there wasn’t enough space in the back of the truck, so I gave it to a zombie.

Maybe I’ll give it to some other survivor. You’ll notice that in every single one of my Lego Zombie Apocalypse builds, there are random pipes here and there. In this one there are two; a very tall one in the front, and a smaller one to the side.

You might have also noticed that I took some things from other sets. The garbage can, streetlight, and radio are from the Ghostbusters HQ. Those shelves are from the 1966 Batcave. The pile of newspapers are from the Monster Fighters Haunted House.

Well, that’s all that I have to say about it. I’m currently working on a prison for the zombie apocalypse theme, so be sure to look out for that.
